The
Parent Teacher Organization is a volunteer-based organization whose purpose is
to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment at
St. Henry Catholic School. The purpose of the PTO is to bring parents together
to assist the school administration and staff as they focus on developing our school
activities.
The
PTO provides services to the staff and students/families through out the year.
Some of these services include:
- Room Parents
- Crusader Caterers
- Veteran's Day Celebration
- Santa's Workshop
- Confirmation Reception/Kindergarten Reception
- Used Uniform Sale
- Summer Grade Level Gatherings
The
PTO also sponsors several social events throughout the school year. Including:
- An Evening for Parents
- Back-To-School Picnic
- Mother/Son Event
- Father/Daughter Dance
- Catholic Schools Week Family Events
- Ladies Swap-N-Shop Night
The
PTO raises funds to sponsor events and activities listed above. So that our
children can focus on learning and not selling, the PTO hosts the Crusader
Royale as the main school fundraiser. This is an adult casino-style event that
focuses on community building fun as much as raising money. The PTO also receives income through
the following programs:
Ready
to get involved? All current student parents/guardians are members of the
PTO and are welcome to attend meetings and become active volunteers. Meetings
are held on the second Tuesday of each month. We start each meeting with a
social brief social period at 6:15 with the meeting beginning at 6:30. Our next
meeting will be held September 11th in the cafeteria.
